It is about a boy named Mowgli who is raised by wolves. A fat bear named Baloo also helps raise him and so does a panther named Bagheera. Mowgli is captured by some weird monkeys who call themselves the “Monkey-People”. But Baloo and Bagheera save him. So does Kaa, who is a python. Shere Khan is an evil tiger who wants to eat Mowgli. But Mowgli defeats him in the end.
I like this book because it is funny and adventurous. The Monkey-People were pretty silly and evil. Mowgli is very brave and ridiculous. He can talk to animals…which is very ridiculous!
